My first word(?)

Today, I said "kitty" when Alex, our cat, walked into my bedroom. Daddy was holding me at the time and was very surprised! Mommy thought it might be a fluke, but she didn't hear how clearly and enthusiastically I said it! Anyway, as mommy was feeding me and getting me ready for bed tonight, the kitty walked by and I exclaimed, "Kitty!" again.

That clinches it... at 7 months, 3 days old, my first word was a garbly "kitty". At least it wasn't "no"!
